How To Change Lock Screen Timeout in Windows 8.1

Since many of my friends have asked me about there problems related to
Lock Screen in Windows 8.1, such as:-
* Automatic lock after one minute of Windows 8.1 screen.
* How to change lock-screen timeout.
* They searched a lot for solution but many of the ways people told, their
options are not found on the individual machines.
* Etc etc....
Thus after finding out I am writing this article to try and help them, support our sponsors by allowing me show ads and give those ads a try by seeing their destinations.
Microsoft has extremely pathetic Help and Support. They have not provided with basic functions on the go, specially after a problem of this nature, which we have been noticing from the time of their previous OS-versions also.
You need to make a change in your registry to include an option in your Advanced power settings for each plan.

Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\7516b95f -f776-4464-8c53-06167f40cc99\8EC4B3A5-6868-48c2-BE75-4F3044BE88A7]
"Attributes"=dword:00000002
Immediately after editing the registry, you will see a new option to adjust in the advanced power settings for your power plan.

OR

To adjust the Windows 8.1 lock screen timeout, you will need to open an Administrator command prompt and use powercfg.exe.

Example: Setting the lock screen to 10 minutes instead of the default of 1 minute. (600 seconds = 10 min.)

Run there two commands on your command prompt:-

Code:
powercfg.exe /SETACVALUEINDEX SCHEME_CURRENT SUB_VIDEO VIDEOCONLOCK 900

powercfg.exe /S SCHEME_CURRENT

Civilians, the modern day scapegoats!

It's a matter of pity that in an alleged civilised world, we strive for the prevalence of truth and justice. The concepts of nationalism and patriocy are twisted to the extent compelling the humankind to cry for mercy! When human dwellings started to crop in, the idea of statehood or nation as a political entity might have been the need of the hour, making it possible to frame a world within world in order to cater for the needs of the humans to survive and prosper but in the current times, when the knowledge of civilization has reached up to an extent where we claim ourselves to be knowing reasonable at least to understand the real need of broadmindedness to keep the world peaceful and progressive. Yet when the situation such as Ukraine-Russia conflict or GAZA invasion occur, we are bound to ponder over the narrow-mindedness of the so called holy concepts of nationalism, statehood as well as cultural and linguistic identities. The world must redefine and refine its principles.
